J.W. Sean Dorsey

Sean is the Founder and CEO of League Park Advisors. Prior to founding League Park, Sean was Senior Managing Director at National City Corporation (currently PNC Financial Services) where he led the Investment Banking and Capital Markets businesses. He also previously served as Managing Director at McDonald’s Investments (currently Keybanc Capital Markets), where he was Co-Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group, Head of the Consumer Group, and a member of the Structured and Real Estate Finance Group. 

Sean began his career as an attorney with the law firm of Baker Hostetler and was a Partner specializing in Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Real Estate. Sean is also a founder of several investment entities including League Park Capital (formally Achill Partners), SCG Partners, and Park North Capital.

Sean holds his Series 7,79,24 and 99 licenses through SFI Capital Group, LLC for which he also serves as the firm’s CEO and Chief Compliance Officer. Sean previously served as a member of the FINRA Global Capital Markets Examination Committee. Sean is a graduate of Cornell University and Case Western University School of Law.

 He has served on the boards or visiting committees of ABCO, Alliance Staffing, American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Case Western Reserve University School of Law and West Campus, Chancellor University, The Country Club, Cuyahoga County Community Improvement Corporation, Notre Dame College, PDI, PreEmptive Solutions and the United Way. He was also a member of Leadership Cleveland (Class of 2014).
